When I started my very first supper club earlier this year, it began as a space rooted deeply in my own origins. But over the past eleven months, something extraordinary happened: alongside the roots I was born with, I have built a "found family" - the incredible people who have filled each table and anchored me in entirely new ways.
For the final gathering of the year, I am paying homage to those bonds. The evening features a deeply personal 4-course dinner made up of dishes and recipes I have learned from meaningful people throughout my life, complete with the stories behind them.
To weave the evening together, we’ll draw from handwritten conversation prompts between courses to guide our talk on belonging, connection, and community.
