Terms and Conditions
By purchasing a ticket for, or attending, a V-Nourish event, the Guest acknowledges and agrees to the following terms and conditions:
1. Assumption of Risk
The Guest acknowledges that attending a supper club or workshop hosted in a private residence involves inherent risks. These risks may include, but are not limited to:
Food and Beverage: Risks associated with consuming food and beverages, including allergic reactions, foodborne illnesses, or choking.
Premises: Risks associated with being on private property, such as slips, trips, falls, or interactions with pets.
General Health: Risks of exposure to communicable diseases.
The Guest voluntarily assumes all such risks, known and unknown, related to their participation in this event.
2. Dietary Restrictions and Allergies
Guest Responsibility: It is the sole responsibility of the Guest to inform the Host of any dietary restrictions, food allergies, or sensitivities at the time of booking.
Cross-Contamination: While the Host will make reasonable efforts to accommodate known allergies, the Guest acknowledges that the food is prepared in a home kitchen. The kitchen may process common allergens (nuts, dairy, gluten, eggs, etc.), and the Host cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.
Event Specifics: Certain events (such as Bread Workshops) are inherently high-gluten/dairy environments and may not be suitable for guests with severe sensitivities.
3. Alcohol Consumption & BYOB Policy
Responsibility: Guests agree to consume alcohol responsibly and in moderation.
Legal Age: The Guest confirms they are of legal drinking age (21+) in the State of New Jersey.
BYOB Policy: For BYOB events, Guests are responsible for the alcohol they bring. The Host reserves the right to refuse service or request that a Guest cease consumption if they appear intoxicated.
Safe Travel: The Guest agrees not to drive if impaired and will make alternative travel arrangements (e.g., taxi, rideshare).
4. Waiver and Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Guest hereby releases, waives, and discharges the Host, their family members, and any event staff (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury (including death) that may be sustained by the Guest, or to any property belonging to the Guest, while attending the event.
5. Indemnification
The Guest agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any loss, liability, damage, or costs, including court costs and attorney fees, that they may incur due to the Guest’s participation in the event, whether caused by the negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise.
6. Photography and Media Release
The Guest understands that photos or video may be taken during the event for promotional purposes (social media, website). The Guest grants the Host permission to use their likeness in such materials without compensation. Guests may opt out by notifying the Host in writing prior to the event.
7. Refund & Transfer Policy
Due to the intimate nature of our events and advanced ingredient preparation, all ticket sales are final and non-refundable. However, tickets are fully transferable. If you cannot attend, you may gift or sell your seat to another guest; please notify the Host of the name change for the guest list.
