In winter, we turn toward what lies beneath
ROOTED is a five-course, South Indian–inspired tasting experience hosted in Glen Rock, NJ, centered on ingredients that grow deep within the earth and recipes that ground me in memory, place and self.
The Food Root vegetables and mushrooms form the foundation of the menu - cultivated in darkness, patience, and time to offer warmth, depth, and quiet nourishment.
Guided by South Indian heritage, the menu unfolds through layered spices, gentle heat, and fermentation. Across the evening, dishes will unfold as a meditation on being rooted.
Expect warmth, texture, spice and quiet richness. It is food that is meant to slow you down, bring you back to center and leave you feeling held. Come hungry and leave grounded.
The Wine Curated wines will be served throughout the evening, chosen to move in quiet conversation with the meal.
The Setting Hosted in an intimate home setting, the evening is designed to unfold slowlyinviting presence, connection, and grounding.
